Big News: Austen Arnaud joins the CF team

Fanatics -

I am happy to announce today that former Cyclone QB Austen Arnaud has joined the CF team. Austen recently graduated from Iowa State and is still in Ames rehabbing his knee. For the next few months, Austen and I will be doing weekly podcasts together, that specifically focus on Iowa State football. This is a gridiron junkies dream. We recorded our first podcast yesterday and I'll post it on the site later this morning.

In addition to that, the plan is for Austen to host weekly chats here at CF where you can log on, ask him questions and converse with one of your favorite Cyclones of all-time.

My first thought as well. Some of you guys were really tough on Austen, brutal at times.

Ditto. I was considering warning him as to what he was getting himself into. I'm sure he has heard much worse though. You can't be a Div-I athlete and ever please everyone. And there are a lot of schmucks out there who will think that it is okay to say the most offensive things right to your face just because you are in the public eye.
