I do agree that rep shouldn't be included in any big way so that is off the table. I also agree that the credits would lose their meaning if we handed them out all the time for no reason. By having the set limits that are in place, I think it keeps the system strong - and by having the welfare check, it keeps people engaged and able to participate.
If we bet huge and lose you should comp our meals for the day

A Mod should set up odds for Iowa going to a bowl or not and which one.....

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

I hadn't looked at my credits for a couple of hours......and all of the sudden I had 41,000 more credits. I kind of felt like I had found a giant sack of money on the ground and I debated for a little bit whether I should pm someone about the error or just pretend like I always had that much.

But now I know the truth.

I had the same mentality. Why would I inform someone of a good mistake to lose all my credits? I was playing roulette once in the Quad Cities, playing 50 cent chips. The croupier knocked off the chip that said I was playing 50 cents and replaced it with a dollar. Doubled my money. Lost it all anyways, but it was nice for a while.

"If you can't hear me, it's because I'm in parentheses."

I think you should suffer if you lose all your credits. I am ok with earning credits on number of posts / reads /etc. I am not sure how you can earn credits, but I would like to see the best betters have the most credits. I don't think someone should earn a ton of credits without betting and betting correctly.

The cybookie activity is around to add enjoyment for those that wish participate.

Better to be hated for who you are, than beloved for who you're not.

In support of CF I think you should give credits for contributions, so those than run out of credits can get back in the game by helping out Jeremy!!

Signing up a year ago and then just basically checking the site out every once in awhile until recent, just paid big dividends.
