Re: Credit & Betting Meltdown Thread

Lost over 1 million in credits the last 2 days.....

However, I must be doing something right cause I still got over a Million...

If this was real I would be wearing one of those little white wrap-around coats by now and living away from home....

I was very confident the Pats would win. I lost over 300k on the moneyline bet on the Pats. I didn't even need them to cover....just win.

Man did Hobbs get burnt on that last play...

All I gotta say is that's the best 50,000 credits I've ever lost!
The game got a little boring in the middle, but the end of the game was pretty exciting. Glad to see some good football!

Bliss to you!

Luckily I won a couple of old bets on NY but they were small... Not even enough to replace my overconfidence in the Clones v Neb...

Who cares! What a phenom game, totally rediculous 4th qt... After that rediculous escape and the great catch I had to root for the Giants to close it out!

I agree, well worth the massive loss of credits.

If it were real cash though, I'd be singing a different tune (aka, The Blues).

I had 0 early yesterday... Ended up going to 125k... I had 1,000 on the Giants @ 25 to 1, which really helped, and I had credits on the Giants to cover the initial 14 and the 11.5! Some other random bets too... The Giants have been good to me all post season!

I'm lovin' it!

It was horrible. I went from having 2.7 million in my possession to 800,000.

I had to bet 500k back on tonite.. Must win it back.. must win it back.. must win it back

I think we are seeing who are the good gamblers and who are the also rans. Gordy looks like he is a good gambler. Guess the Pats are not the best team ever. TBrady and TonyRomeo must have seen too much action in their offtimes - neither had great games against the Giants. Manning looked like Eli is Coming!

The bank is operating like a casino - with every bet the bank seems to come out the winner by a certtain % or either the rich are getting richer like the 4 millionaires....

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

My only regret is that I forgot to bet more on the Giants before the game started!

EDIT: /couldn't because my internet at home is patchy at best... which is why today our current service has the option of replacing our piece of **** modem or taking it with them so we can get reliable service

I ended up breaking completely even over the weekend:
Bet 10,000 on ISU beating spread
Bet 5,000 on Duke covering spread
Bet 5,000 on Drake covering spread
Bet 35,000 on Giants beating spread
Bet 35,000 on over point total

Net effect - NOTHING!!!

My Roman Villas:
Friley-Godfrey (-66|126)
Helser-Woodrow (-61|122)
Roberts-Harriman (-74|133)
Welch-Ayres (-73|133)

Re: Credit & Betting Meltdown Thread

I did very well from the Superbowl and from other events over the last week. I am now 12/13 on my last 13 bets. I went from having 0 credits in my possession (out on a couple bets) to nearly 500k now. My highest total ever.

I have no complaints!!

Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans…I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care…I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it…let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

That's the right attitude Clark!

Clark Griswold: Eddie, I gambled away more money than you'll ever understand.
Cousin Eddie: Try me.

Cousin Eddie: [shouting] Oh God! Oh God! Oh my shhhhooddd! Oh God! Oh my God!

Oh... people will come Mr. Pollard. People will most definitely come.

No, I don't live in Seattle anymore, I'm back in Des Moines but I don't feel like changing my username.

Welp I seem to be losing my luck. I have lost 4 million in the last two days and not really sure what to bet on for tomorrow.
