Site Feedback And Assistance Forum Information

I have created this special section of the forums to give everybody a place to leave comments regarding the layout, design, and functionality of the site, as well as a place to ask for assistance regarding a site feature or function. Please be descriptive in your topic titles and keep on the subject. Only use this forum for site related discussion and not for general topics.

it seems my signature only shows the address to an external pic. The pic does show at first, but after the first showing only the address is displayed. Is it best to upload a pic or reference an external one?

You can do either, to include an external pic you need to do the following:

You can also upload a picture and then the site doesn't have to try and fetch it. There are ways too where a site can stop people from linking to images and it would then not show up in your signature. Let me know if you still have probs and I can help some more.

hmmm... well aren't I the problem child today?!

I decided to upload the pic but I only get the address to it... I noticed a few other that way. Maybe there is a setting in the CP that i need to check on or off?

I think you have to change one of your profile preferances to "display pictures"... can't remember where that is but I thought I saw that somewhere

imo: that should be a auto "on" feature.

okay, the "remember me" check box is checked when I log in, yet I am requried to login in each time I visit.

Any ideas?

It works for me staying logged in. As long as you aren't clicking log out when you leave and instead just click the X on your browser

Ummmm, I don't have it bookmarked, i just type 'cyc', press the arrow key down and select cyclonefanatic.com.

I will try the whole dubya, dubya, dubya in front first.

Oh, I don't press logout and I am using Firefox v1.8.0.4

I'm having a problem everyonce and awhile after I read posts... then leave the site and come back... everything I just read becomes a new post. I'll read them, refresh the home page, so it shows that they have been read. Come back to the site in a few minuts... no new posts... but each thread says there are new ones (the ones that were new when I read them a few minutes earlier)

Before you upgraded the forum, it worked fine and I didn't even have to refresh the home page for them to be shown as read, I could just click the "back" button on my browser and it was updated. I don't have as much problem with this as I do the first part about items being read, and then coming back to the site and them showing as unread.
