Great idea!!! It is nice to be able to see where everyone is located. Especially for those of us far removed from God's Country (a.k.a. Ames)

I must be stupid because A) I couldn't get it to be a moderator blue thingy and B) I couldn't get it to show up after i put it on!

It defaults to a strange lat/long. You need to find your location and then click on the map to get it to show up. It will first appear as an organge marker (looks like a football first down marker).

Then when you save it and go look at the map, it will work.

I have it setup so the map updates every ten minutes. Once you enter something, it will show up on the next refresh (i.e. within 10 mins max). I know it's not the best way of doing the mapping but I knew a lot of people wouldn't want to enter their address.

Jeremy: Sweet addition, now get everyone to list location and mark map.........too many with no location listed. like IOWA or Coloradoor nothing.....being way out in New Mexico it helps knowing where the poster is located.
