CycloneFanatic's new logo!

EDIT: We will be looking at an alternate design. Stay tuned for a new version to vote on.

I wanted to give everybody the chance to vote on the new CycloneFanatic logo. The big unveiling will be the first complete logo change since I first started the site and the new design definitely matches the site style much more than the outdated logo currently in use.

I want to also say thank you to ss and Cloned4Life for their incredible help in creating new logos for the site. While it was not easy deciding on the final design, I think the wait will have been well worth it.

The new design might not be flashy and doesn't have a 'shock value' per say, but I think it has the right professional yet club type look to it. It just works:)

Attached are two versions of the final design, please let me know which you feel would look better on the site...

Jeremy I appreciate the props. I keep going back and forth whether or not to include the red strip... hopefully the rest of the members can decide that!

hey, imo this logo looks quite a bit like another sites..........just arranged a bit different...
with that said, the red stripe looks better.

It's not meant to look like theirs at all. I have started to use CF in posts more and more rather than writing out CycloneFanatic repeatedly and I think the new logo shows the CF more prominently so people that are newer to the site start to equate CF and CycloneFanatic more synonymously.

Another benefit of the new design is that if people still want to have t-shirts or something to that affect (as people suggested earlier this summer), it would look pretty darn sweet on merchandise. We could create a section in the balcony called "CycloneFanatics" and have it be right above CycloneAlley:) (Just kidding on that last part:D)

im not trying to speak bad of the new logo, but since there are basically 3 cyclone fan sites, im just thinking cyclonefanatic might not want a logo that is close to another one of the sites, just thinking in brand identification. maybe im way off base

I would vote for the red bar, bar none. And when we win, make the bar ripple or wave after the game. That would be cool.

Of the 2, with the bar looks much better.

However, I echo the "let's get something completely different" from the other 2 lesser sites.

There has got to be someone here that deals with graphics and could create a pretty sweet logo.

OK, I will find an alternate route. I like the cyclone fanatic part in the bar but the big CF to the left is starting to look too similar now. Stay tuned for the next version...
