Re: Please report ANY site issues here
A good piece of advice from this whole experience is:
A. Have a good anti-virus program and a good anti-spyware program
B. Keep them updated
C. Scan with them regularly

Im on a different computer at the moment and probably shouldnt even be here but couldnt resist as I wanted to see what info has been presented on the issue. Just wanted to report that my computer issue was due to excessive static electricity, and not this site! It was just a big coincidence like I hoped. Just wanted to give that update to my post.

Re: Please report ANY site issues here
ran a scan of malware bytes yesterday and it found a couple of things and they were removed, scanned again this morning and had nothing. I will probably scan using microsoft security suite and malware bytes again tonight.

Go Cyclones! Same thing happened to me. On McAfee's recommendation, I removed all the cats, plastic combs, and balloons from my house, and I stopped dragging my feet on the carpet. Cleared it right up.

Re: Please report ANY site issues here
This site is now permanently blocked by my place of employment for "repeated virus/malware content". May not be an issue to anyone else, but it's a big issue to me. :-)

Re: Please report ANY site issues here
Cisco IronPort SenderBase Security Network still reports this site's reputation as "poor". That's what our filter at work uses.

Re: Please report ANY site issues here
I can't mark forums as read anymore. Every time I try, I get this message:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Re: Please report ANY site issues here
CW, can you tell us what you think happened in the past week with the move to another server, three crack IT teams working feverishly, etc?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Please report ANY site issues here
I went on here Saturday mid afternoon & a fake anti virus loaded and began telling me I had all sorts of viruses with pop-ups constantly. It also began opening windows explorer every five minutes or so to a site called porno.org. It also completely disabled any anti malware or spyware programs I tried to run. I was able to run antivirus in safe mode, but that didn't do anything. I was at my wits end when I decided to do a restore in safe mode to a point in time before all this happened and it actually worked.
I am at a public computer now & WILL NOT go on CF from any home computer. My 13 year son is completely bummed. So...WTF was/is going on??

It took me 1/2 day to get it straightened out. Things have been happening lately on my desktop (XP) but have not affected my laptop (Windows 7). Could Windows 7 be immune to this crap?
