Hawks Officially Leaving

I didn't see this posted elsewhere:

Hawks Leaving

It seems that next year will be interesting, as they have no RBs and their QB can't throw.

I don't know how "official" a blog is.

hahahahahahahahaha

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

That's not a blog. It's the Quad City Times' regular Hawkeye coverage.

Iowa just picked up a JUCO running back that runs a 4.4 forty - and will be a Junior next year. Not to mention, Brodell, Moeaki, Stross, and the receivers will be healthy again. I'm not that worried about the offense next year - surely it won't be as bad as this year.

Nevermind then. It looked like a blog and it was called Hawkamania, I missed the QCT logo.

DD is no longer with the team - and I'm not sure the fate of Bowman. But it sounds like most of the trouble makers from this year's team are no longer in Iowa City. Hopefully these problems are done and gone, and the Hawks can move on.

Will the rate of arrests, particularly the receivers, I'd still be might concerned about next year's offense Saying you're not would be like me saying I'm not worried about our guard play this season.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Since they have not been kicked off yet I would not be surprised at all to see them back again and DD listed at WR#1.

He looks to be a decent RB, but Iowa better not just rely on him, he appears to have a commitment problem. I wouldn't count on him untill the day he signs.

Well I wouldn't count on him until he's past his background check

Yes, we get it, Iowa has legal problems

But yeah - I'm done counting on recruits sticking to their verbals. It's not just with Iowa, but all over the nation. I don't know why this year seems to be so much worse than others...

But if he does stay, Iowa still needs a few more RBs - 1 Big Ten caliber back isn't enough.

This is good:

Albert Young, Iowa’s leading rusher who rooms with Greene didn’t want to comment on Greene’s possible return last month, saying only, “Man, Shonn likes to watch TV.”

JOIN THE NATIONAL CYCLONE CLUB!
“If we truly want to do this, this is the time to step up. Iowa State University has 175,000 living alumni. If one-of-every-10 living alumni joined the National Cyclone Club at the minimum level of $100, we could finance $30 million worth of construction." Jamie Pollard
