This is probably the best thing for the program. Rumor is Douglas is going to Rutgers as well. They need a new place for their second chance and Iowa needs to start over with a clean slate. Good luck to everybody over there.
Well, unless those guys did rape that lady, then I hope they burn in hell.

Probably better for Iowa this way although I was loving hearing all the problems they had. I'm sure new players will rise to the challenge and break the law somehow. If they don't, then when we beat them next year, it will be while they're at full strength.

These guys transfer for second semester. so they can take part in spring practice. But they still have to sit out next fall, right? In other words, if a football player transfers in mid-year, he sits out a year and a half to play at a BCS program, but if he transfered to let's say UNI he could have the benefit of spring practice and play next fall, or am I wrong about this?

I smell a payoff to the young woman...and an agreement they leave town permanently. Who knows, that may be best for her in the long run. Just hate to see guys get away with an assault if they did.

Probably the best for the team anyway. Sounds like it was killing the chemistry. Just hope the justice system goes the right way for the victum in all of this. The only good news for us Hawks is that recruiting is going suprisingly well. The question I have is ISU's good finish with the wins over KSU and the buffs helping their recruiting?

I'm assuming it is, although it's tough to tell specifically. Certainly couldn't have hurt, that's for sure.
