They are off to a great start but haven't beat anyone great yet. Do they continue success and go to the NCAA's?

i think they will.. they are explosive.. and a tough team.. if they do well in their conference.. i dont see why they wouldnt

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.
ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." | |

I thought of this this morning. They are playing really well right now and look like the best team in the valley. Southern Ill is like 4-5, and Creighton does not look all that great. It may come down to Drake and Creighton for the chance to go to the tourney.

Drake is still building. I think next year will be there BIG YEAR. As long as Keno is there they are going to continue to get better. I can honestly see them taking the "Gonzaga of the Midwest" crown from Creighton and really becoming a force. They play a fun style that kids want to play. Who wouldn't love to hear the coach say, 'If you can see the rim, shoot it'.

The Valley is down a little this year. Creighton has exceeded expectations so far this year, and is having a solid season. Wins over several decent mid majors and thumped UNL.
SIU, MO State and Wichita have struggled so far this year. UNI is the other member that has recently battled for the 3-4 slots the league gets. With Drake's "name", they will likely need to win the regular season of the league, or win in STL to make the dance. I see only 2 bids from the Valley this year.

I will be surprised if Drake doesn't go to NIT at the least. I have become a Drake fan lately. I think Keno is doing an awesome job so far at Drake. Go Bulldogs!

For some odd reason I think that Drake will make it to the "Big Dance"...Don't know why...I just have a "Gut Instinct" that sez that the bulldogs will finally make it to the big dance of the ncaa tournament.

The NIT has become much tougher to get into.
Drake will fall as the competition rises.

They started 9-2 last year and missed the Dance. They are 9-1 this year. The Valley is weaker than it has been and probably will only get 2 teams in. I see Creighton, Bradley, and Mizzou State getting in before Drake.
