Iowa has turned the corner?

Really? Things did not look to hot that last game for Iowa:

What was that?
I really don't understand the media's love obsession with Iowa.
Of course they will be better next year. They couldn't get any worse than this year!

It's Christmas, can't we all just get along?

Plus, it could have been worse, Iowa could have won only 3 games.

Also, Iowa has a lot of talent and young experienced players coming in next season with a favorable schedule. Here's to hoping.

But alas, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

ISU Student - Iowa fan. Best of both worlds.

If any team in Iowa turned a corner it had to be ISU. In the second half they beat teams they weren't suppose to and played tough and showed promise in the others. In a side note.... EIU legal troubles and the politicians were a toss up on top news this year.

For the record, I never said ISU hadn't "turned a corner" too. I'm expecting big (relatively) things next year.

We've all turned the corner. That saying doesn't even make sense. What does it mean to turn a corner?

Well, I turned a corner to get some more egg nog....

In fact, thinking back on it, I've turned at least 20 corners today alone. Not too shabby!

And you've done it in spite of Ken O'Keefe!

Turn a corner - Turn north on I35 in Des Moines instead of continuing east on I80 and ending up in the toilet

Saying that Iowa is returning 15 starters for next year, But I don't know if that is really a good thing is it? I mean the starters last year weren't all that great. It is kinda like the people who said we lost almost all our Oline last year, and said it was a bad thing. but in reality they really couldn't have gotten much worse.

I don't get the media obsession either. If anything I thought Iowa finished the season badly not the other way around. I'm not taking a shot at Iowa, just the media. There definitely is a misconception about Iowa in the National Media. Who knows, maybe they'll be ranked #8 to start the season again.
