Nice Drake Article

CBSportsline has a nice article about Drake. Even though they are an In-State rival and beat us this year, I still enjoy their success. I will more than happy to root them on whenever they aren't playing the Cyclones.

I would always hope the best for a coach with the name of Keno.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Drake is taking advantage of playing in a horrid conference (this year) and playing as well as they have in quite a while. Can't say I'll be cheering them on but good for them.

Nice article.

I'd be perfectly content if Drake were the second best team in Iowa every year.

The Davis family exemplifies class - however I don't think Keno going to be around for very long.

Next time Keno is on TV close your eyes and listen. It's amazing how much he sounds like his dad. If you didn't know any better and you heard the voice in another room you'd think it was Tom.

I think Keno is getting a lot out of the talent he has. I look at that lineup, watch the games and just can't figure out how they do it. It's like every team they play just stinks it up, but they obviously have something to do with that.

I now work a half mile from the Drake Campus, so I can't help but root for them as a #2 team behind ISU.
