No. George Mason was a low seed that was damn-near not even in the tournament.
2 completely different stories.

2 completely different stories. I was thinking more like the "feel-good story about the little known school doing well in the tournament." I wasn't comparing numbers.

That is the kind of win that gets a team in the tourney, even if they don't win the conf. No ranked team has ever won at the qwest center. Drake plays great team basketball and they still aren't playing 100%. Young is still coming back and played with too much excitement tonight.

Whats your reason to be on the Blue leather suit bandwagon?
My wife went to Drake and reminds me of it every month when we pay the student loans and a freind of mine used to take me to quite a few games for free but now expects me to pay since they are winning!

I try to make it to 1 day of the Drake Relays every year. Although most years I never make into the stadium.

almost blew it by letting korver shoot from the arc in the last 3 minutes - probably let 4 or 5 go that missed - and not many of them were with less than 10 seconds on the shot clock. GREAT game watch though. There defense up top was phenomenal - really good hedging and dropping the first step with the guard to keep them from driving.

I did my internship at Drake and spent alot of time working with the basketball team. That was just two short years ago when most of these guys were just freshman, so it's kind of cool to see them doing so well now...

If the NCAA Tourney was announced this week...
The Drake Bulldogs would be at least a number "8" seed! http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=764661 |

Unless Drake collapses they are in.
I have always rooted for Drake sans ISU games. I can even barely remember when they played ISU in football. I grew up in DSM.

I like to see a central Iowa team do well, and really have no beef with them. It probably helps that we don't actually play them in football.
