People keep doubting 'em, they keep winning.

Nothing short of amazing what they're doing right now.

I really hope that they are able to take this and run deep into the tournament with it.

They seem to find a way to win. Josh Young was a steal for Drake, that kid can flat out play.

I'm not an expert on sports, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night

Gotta feel good for Drake. I love this run.. except for listen to C&C in the morning has been nauseating.

This is a great run for Drake. Keno Davis in my opinion is National Coach of the Year, hands down. Yeah you could give it to John Callipari(sp) at Memphis or some other big name but they were expected to have a great year. Nobody predicted Drake to do anything. Way to go Keno!

My hope is, as long as they keep winning - is they are part of the Sweet 16. That would really "solidify" their accomplishments this year.

Big win... 2 more wins and I think they pretty much have it locked up (MVC title that is).

All kinds of good guards around: Young, Stinnet and Emmenecker.

Every Cylone fan needs to adopt the Drake team as its own secondary only to ISU. It's been fun watching this team continue to impress and shove predictions from all the experts back in their faces. Watch Bilas eat crow later in a month or so when Drake has the MVC all wrapped up.

Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'

Good for Drake, but does anyone seriously think they will do anything against a Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis or anyone else in the top 20?

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

At this rate they won't have to worry about that untill the sweet 16, at that point, anything can happen. When you can shoot the 3 like they do and play solid, not spectacular, defense alot of things can go your way...

I understand that, but that is why I can't go overboard on this team and get all excited because I know they aren't that great. ISU doesn't have a big chance, but there still is a chance that they could get to the tourney themselves. I cheer for one team, win or lose!
