Shouldn't he be a little busy with spring ball to handle being an athletic director for the next couple of months?

Isn't there an Asst. or Assoc. Athletic Director to fill that position until a permanent AD is hired? Seems odd...starting to wonder about the leadership at UNI.

Their old AD is a heck of a guy; he is hard working and can handle many things at once. Check out the December 2007 edition of Dirt Late Model Magazine for a good article about him. I was shocked when I saw he was leaving his post; he seems to be a true Panther and is a very nice guy to chat with.

Yeah I've heard the same thing and am shocked as well that he left. He had rattled his saber about leaving a few years ago, but stayed. Evidently he does not like the current managment strucuture at the University and wanted to report directly to the Universtiy President like JP and Barta do. The President(who came from ISU) said no. Weird deal.
