Are bigger name schools going to make a run on the Drake coach? Not even close. Two of the starters (Emmeneker & Cox) are former walk-ons. Josh Young was a three star according to Scout and unrated by Rivals. I'm guessing he is their highest rated player.

Are bigger name schools going to make a run on the Drake coach? No. Young is there best player by far. They are not the most athletic team, but they sure play hard and together. Goes to show what a team can do when playing within a good system. They also have experence and upperclassmen leading the team.

Drake has signed a 6'11" center out of Michigan, a 6'6" player from S. Dakota and a jc point gaurd from Texas. They also have a transfer from Cal Irvine sitting out this year they think will take Korver's place. I also think a gaurd from Linn Mar is going there.

I have heard from some of the coaches that they think they have the best recruiting class in the state coming in, no lie... THey said some of the guys may not be big name, but they can all play, and shoot!

Congrats to Drake! Sounds like things are really going their way, playing "Hoosiers"-style.

THey said some of the guys may not be big name, but they can all play, and shoot! Looks like Keno Davis will be a bigger recruiting threat to McD than Jacobsen or Altman at this point. They are a team on the rise till someone steals (or pays super bucks) Keno. And Frank Martin has #1 juco and possibly, as we are reading, the #3 juco. Basketball in this area is improving.

My best friend played with the guy from irvine and he said he was a really great player in high school and just didnt fit the system at irvine.
