| Some People see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not? When I took this job I said why not Iowa State? Why not winning? Why not bowl games? Why not sell outs? Why not national respect? Why not us? Why not here? Why not the cyclone family? |

Looks like Jake keeps the qb job by default.
KF needs to sign about 35 kids in order to keep 25, 10 of which can be assigned to the stripe shirt program.

We had a couple football players at UNI my first year in the dorms get busted by smoking weed in their rooms and settting off the fire alarm. Surprisingly enough, Terry Allen kicked them off the team.

I have a friend who is an RA at Iowa State. At least in Ames, standard procedure is, that if you think drugs are involved, i.e. smelling pot, you call the cops, it is not something the R.A. is trained to deal with. Its an automatic call, no questions, and if these kids were known for having some shady stuff going on, it wouldn't have taken the R.A. long to find a reason to call the cops.
