Quite true. Regardless, still a decent chunk of change.

I wonder when this set of photos was taken.

At some point you'd think the light would go on in a person's head saying "No more".

Seems that light bulb was shattered or more likely - never existed in the head of Douglas and countless other Hawk FB players.

Another day, another addition to the debacle taking place in Iowa City.

When in the hell does it end?

If Cleveland and Nelson leave, that'll be the end of City Boyz Incorporated. If you look at the arrests, most if not all of the major arrests have been from that group (Cleveland, Nelson, Bowman, Douglas, Everson). And after talking with a lot of Iowa fans, who some say have inside info from players, many believe it'll be the best thing to happen for that program. Get rid of the cancer and get things back on track.

What thugs. I'm sure we're all impressed, too. Why do these guys have to mindlessly perpetuate stereotypes?

"Hey guys, lets get a bunch of money and baggy clothes and take a picture of it and put it on the internet. Nevermind the fact that we have original personalities/other redeeming qualities. Let's act like every famous rapper/thug ever. I'm SURE people will be impressed when we put our pictures on the interwebs."

If someone can look me in the eye and say with a straight face that they think getting rid of this crew would not be the best thing for the program in Iowa City - I'd immediately get on the phone and have them committed to the funny farm.

Because that would be the craziest thing I've ever heard.

Iowa should have cut their losses with this crew long ago - boom - done - gone - adios. The fact they have not tells me there isn't much talent in Iowa City at all and they're desperate for any kid that can play ball right now.

It is quite possible Iowa could have one of those "nice" 7-9 seasons or a very ugly, long 2-3 wins season when things get even uglier to the east.

The assumption is, things were ever ON track over in Iowa City. I, for one, question the fundamental assumption behind that statement.

Selling bricks of dope is a hell of a lot smarter than playing division one football.

Lets set would I rather get laid out by a linebacker going across the middle or shot over a drug deal gone bad.

Even if it was fake, some idiot on the street could care less. Not something I'd be willing to chance.

Life's a hustle in the IC boys.

They should just start filming season 6 of the Wire there.

Man, if these are recent pictures then the following is true:

If you took the brains of all three of these thugs and pressed them together into a ball and then shoved them up a flea's rear end, that ball would look like a bb in a basketball auditorium.

Ferentz has to have staff that is checking stuff like this out and scanning message boards for crap like this. When they find it and it gets reported to Kirky and he doesn't give them the boot, then their problems are going to grow and fester into a even bigger mess then it already is.

No, no, no...you guys misunderstand. They're just showing all the cash that Douglas is about to pay his attorney, before it vanishes forever.
