Those guys must have been working at McDonalds a lot longer than I thought.

Maybe next contract extension, Barta can dock KF $10k for every recruit that gets kicked off the team - it cost money to bring in the thugs.

Boyz to Men and back to Boyz. Trouble in River City.

These guys are about as dumb as you get check out this article

Iowa football: Stolen cards used in failed spending spree | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register

"Tekippe later reported that by 8:30 a.m. the next day, more than $2,000 worth of transactions had been attempted on his credit cards. Among the attempted purchases were baseball caps and a pair of $490 shoes, with Bowman's dorm room listed as the shipping address."

"Tekippe also reported the purchases had taken place over the Internet and two orders had been placed with Sneakerhead.com for Bowman and Douglas, using Bowman's e-mail address"

Yeah, I say let him back on the team. He paid his "debt to society". What, precisely did he pay, anyway? How much time in prison did he serve?

Just askin'

I know Douglas is no longer on the team and I don't think Bowman is either.

Daniel Ruffin of Bradley was just reinstated to play Creighton. Hmmm. Coaches have to win.

DING DING DING DING DING We have a winner.

The funny part is that with all the negatives these guys bring, they aren't even very good at football. Maybe it's hard to play well when you're high. Douglas had one good year, Cleveland dropped more passes than he caught, and Nelson, Bowman, & Everson played little-to-none and made no impact. If you add up all the games that these guys played in you'd probably find that they have a net losing record. None of them have even played on a team that can beat Western Michigan.

Fortunately for ISU, it looks like Bowman has been welcomed back to the team. Nelson's and Cleveland's status might be in jeopardy, but who knows. Two or three arrests including a felony charge is usually not enough to get booted off the Iowa team. Unless you're the backup long snapper of course. If he misspells a word, BOOM, he's out.

Not only that, but they have nowhere near the fashion sense of Bo Williams.
