Damn. We had 19 losses when they had 16 in 2002 - their worst season. And we only drew 10,543 for 18 home games - all of them wins - in the 1999-2000 season. Damn us, our glass house, and that pile of stones intended for the pukeye nation.
Look, if we're going to be all rational about it, this just isn't going to work. Once we log on, let's go ahead and leave rationality behind. | | |

With the non conference season set by the coaches it is hard to lose 19 games. You just are not very good.

I know, you own the site and all, but DANG, I should've saved up at least "some" +rep for this post.
I don't enjoy revelling in Hawkeye misery as much as I enjoy ISU winning, but it's a nice second place....

If I'm not mistaken we have lost to them two years in a row and got blown out by 35 this year.

Is this still Cyclone Fanatic?? The way so many are defending EIU I must be on the wrong site. Or maybe Southernhawk has recruited some friends to come over and change these threads from "Make fun of the Hawkeyes" to bash the Clones.

What parallels could we make with "common sense" and "defending Iowa"?
I don't think anybody is defending Iowa - and I've mostly stayed out of this thread due to the fact it is mostly true (attendance, losses, etc...) The people making comments about ISU's numbers being exactly identical just 5 years ago isn't "defending Iowa", it's just using common sense. Both teams have had their struggles, with neither really separating themselves from the other.
