Denver would have been perfect. It is an easy 9 hr drive. Florida at spring break will be crazy.

Any chance there will be a Drake vs UCLA rematch?
I think Drake can beat UConn in the second round to advance and face UCLA.

Does anyone else hope Lundquist and Raftery get assigned to Tampa so they can do the Drake game? I can hear it now "Bucky Cox for three...ONIONS!!"

I'd rather have Gus Johnson, who is my favorite announcer of all time.

It will never happen but I would love to see Drake vs. Duke just to see the announcers stumble all over themselves.

If Drake wins two games, they will have reached Sweet Sixteen and exceeded a 5 seed.

Drake wouldn't have a huge number of fans anywhere outside of Omaha but the NCAA already put KU and K-State there.
Smaller conferences have been getting the shaft more and more lately. The number of midmajor teams getting at-large bids has been shrinking, partially because the power conferences are bigger and have more sway than they used to in order to get their mediocre teams in. They also seem to put together a lot more midmajor matchups in the first two rounds, like Drake-WKU.

Great point. He is awesome. Much better than the crap that ESPN puts out.

Drake better worry about the Hilltoppers first.

I'd be upset with KXnO if they didn't talk about Drake alot....what else is there? Hawkeye arrests? Predictions on next year's bball teams? I want to talk about what's exciting right now and that's Drake.

Please Hilltoppers, beat Drake this week and free us of another round of "touchy-feely" stories about Eminecker. There's always at least one.
Let the Drake fans - new or old - enjoy the experience. ISU hasn't been there often enough to cast doubt on the loyalty of their fans. I am rooting for them to do Iowa proud and hopefully ISU wil be there next year with them.
