Iowa football coach Ferentz is hiring a new "player development director" after 14 players have been either arrested or charged with crimes. Where's the PC police on this one? Will the Register do a background check? What church has the guy ever attended? Where's the ACLU?

FM 22-102, "Wall To Wall Counselling", is the hallmark to everything that has made any military great. And it probably is the only thing that could possibly work on Hawkeyes.

Can't wait until this fall in Kinnick. At the game in Ames last year I saw a Squawk wearing a T-shirt that said " Your mascot is out mascot's *****!!" I looked at him and said "Well your coach is our school's *****." Everyone within earshot roared.
