If he in fact had nothing to do with the assault, I hope he finds a good lawyer. Incorrectly being labeled a sex offender will mess with the rest of his life...
The Rag ran a story where they interviewed some kids where were sitting out side of the dorm where this all happened, and they mentioned Everson, Satterfield, and Pugh. Pugh was never (as far as anybody can tell) questioned or charged, but the DMR ran a few more stories with his name being mentioned in connection.

There is one thing that Iowa and ISU fans unite on, and that is hating that cage liner that claims to be a news paper.

Or he may have just quit. What message boards do you look at?

Re: Another Hawk off the football team?

From scout Hawk boards:

Yes, then it was reported he enrolled a few days late.

However, the latest rumor is he did not return from Spring Break. I heard this on Friday.
There has been no announcement that Pugh was dismissed, but in his press conference Ferentz said that Pugh would not be with the team during spring practice. That is very odd unless he's injured, and there's been no news of an injury. Possibly he has academic issues.

Re: Another Hawk off the football team?

Well, he's in the two-deeps as released by the football team. I guess maybe Ferentz would know more about this than a few people on a message board.

He's apparently expecting him to be back.

Re: Another Hawk off the football team?

If I had to place a bet (betting board???), I would bet Pugh isn't on the team when fall practice starts....

-keep.

While this may be, as of now he's enrolled in classes, and the staff is anticipating him being on the team.

Hopefully he is as good as the last few Iowa runningbacks against ISU.

Not worried if he is on/off the team.

Phew, we have our JP and EIU has their JP. I would rather have ours.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

It appears to me, from reading at HR Lounge that he has quit or is seriously thinking about quitting and is taking some time away to decide. It does not appear that he was kicked-off the team.

And this is something a lot of people have thought for a while. He's enrolled in classes, but I think it's been generally accepted that he won't be returning.

That may be a little extreme. How do you explain ISU's turnover in basketball then? Yeah, I know, new coach, but this is his 3rd year now, and there's been yet another player tranferring.
