Tom Brands

Listen to some of his quotes... proof Tom Brands isn't all there upstairs. Very intense, but I am still glad we got Cael in our corner.

Pretty sure that craziness is being passed to his wrestlers as well.

That's what I thought. It's like they're all tweaking out on some sort of toilet bowl cleaner.

They are, and it's called National Champions

True, but I bet Tom Brands doesn't eat The Breakfast of Champions!

I'm not a huge wrestling fan, but there's just something about seeing "159-0" that gives me chills.

Re: Tom Brands

I like to bash the sqwaks as much as the next guy ... but face it to be a succesful coach or participant you have to be a bit crazy anyway. Because of Brands (whatever you think of him) those sqwak B**t***s will from now on be a force. People who say anything else are just engaging in sour grapes. We got a great guy in Cael but I don't think he is the same caliber coach as Brands.

For those whi say they would rather have Brands than Cael aren't wrestling fans or are sticking their heads in the sand. Cael is always going to be number two (as a coach) compared to this guy Brands ... as he is a Gable clone ... magnified a notch or two. Crazy is required in this sport.

Re: Tom Brands

They're are crazy, but agree with comments where in this sport it doesn't hurt to be a little meased up in the head... like going to war.

I expect Brands to pull a Woody Hayes somewhere down the road. The guy is a raving maniac.

I think Cael might have went undefeated as a college wrestler, and has an olympic gold medal. I guess he must he crazy enough...
