That would be a blessing for Iowa. He was aweful. They have enough guards coming in that are solid. Freeman and Kelly will be good next year. Add a healthy Cole and they could be ok.
While I normally prefer not to comment on all the Iowa threads that pop up here (I'm here to talk about to talk about the Cyclones, not the Hawkeyes), I will say this about Jeff Peterson. If he were to transfer, I think that would be a loss for Iowa. He seemed to regress some as a player during the course of the season. But he strikes me as a good "character" guy to have on a team. He's a bright student, a hard worker, and seems like the team-oriented type. Even if he can only add so much on the court during a game, he seems like the type who would push the starters in practice and add to positive team chemistry. Those kinds of players add value to a team. If he wants out of Iowa, I wouldn't mind Iowa State picking up a player like that.
