ISU vs EIU Ticket prices

The average family does not have access to these $90 seats. They were sold to Iowa's top donors. ISU fans couldn't get them at this price either, we needed a season ticket. If you average out the price per game, the Iowa game did not cost $90 for a season ticket holder.....unless you include the donation, which you shouldn't.

I'd say that was more like a fun "half-year" for ISU ending with a disaster against UCONN and a trip to Boise. I really don't hope to repeat that year any time soon. But hey, you hawkeye fans seem to think that any time we beat iowa, it makes our season, so I'm sure that you don't believe me.

The ignorance of the Hawkeye comments on here cracks me up. Somehow cancelling the game would be losing our one guaranteed sell out? Ever hear of Nebraska and even UNI has been a sell out and if dropping that game means not having 10,000 EIU idiots in our parking lots getting loaded yelling obscenities around our kids than I'm all for it. Most of the Hawks I hear ******** are ones that have never donated to Iowa, aren't season ticket holders and typically watch most of the games from there couch without spending much at all. But they are the first ones to ***** and scream when tickets go up so they can pretend they really have access to those tickets.

Also, in 2005 when single-game tickets were available for the Iowa game, it wasn't a sellout.

54,290 was the released attendance and a sellout is 55,000.

Well, they did fork over some cash to buy those t-shirts that are 3 sizes too small for their bellies. Come to think of it, it'd be better to keep them out of the parking lot so we don't have to look at them.
