I understand that - I guess it's a Catch 22. On one hand, will the fans show up and fill it? On the other hand, if ISU does start selling out on a regular basis, it would be more expensive later.

I dunno, whatever works I guess. As long as tuition prices don't go up.

I agree. But in the time after Barta's hiring, Kirk Ferentz has been exposed -- he is not a top college football coach, he is just a guy who was in the right place at the right time to cash in on a couple of good seasons. After another season or two of paying $3 million for a .500 coach, we'll find out what Barta's made of.

suckeye fans little fantasy world is being turned upside down and they do not like it. Ours (The Cyclones), on the other hand is growing and getting stronger. Go ahead Hawk fans cry till the cows come home, a cyclone did strike in your town and its going to strike again

I personally think "Hawkeyes" is sufficient as far as insults go.

Despite what some home-grown fans think here in-state, mention University of Iowa or Hawkeyes outside of the state to any college football fan, and enjoy the cringes.

I dont hate him but Iowa needs to change the football contract and they will because of him the new contract will include the teams keeping 100 percent of the home gate.

He brought this on last year.
