Boeffeli and Cutkomp?

They're both seniors that I'll be shocked if they don't end up at ISU. Boeffeli is a TE and Cutkomp is a RB. Boeffeli already has an ISU offer while Cutkomp may end up a walk-on or could also get an offer, just depends on how other recruits go.

As far as not rooting for your school, did you guys also root against your high school. Its the same thing in my mind. Whenever I see Iowa crap on campus i wanna puke.

I see it the same way. The whole point of athletics is to represent your school and it's students (although it's sadly becoming more and more about $$$). But I would find it impossible to attend a school and not root for the team, considering your fellow students make up the athletic teams. To me that is just saying that you like the school but not the students.

Prepare to be shocked about Cutkomp.

And yes, I rooted against my high school at times. I didn't like most of our athletes.

But, at least where I grew up, you didn't choose which HS to attend. You rooted for the team because you had no alternative.

I chose ISU as my team loooong before I considered Iowa as my educational school. Why would I change athletic allegiances just because I wanted a degree from there??

Well the big difference there is that I played football and basketball for my high school. If ISU had offered me a football scholarship I would have most definitely been a Cyclone fan.

But as it is I went to ISU for academics. And being a lifelong Hawkeye fan I felt no reason to change.

Too bad for ISU, good for Iowa. Neither team is going to get all of the in-state recruits. It is a long time until signing day and even a longer time until it is determined who was the real steal in recruiting. There is no reason to jump on Hawk fans that feel they have to come here and report this victory. If he verbaled to ISU I wouldn't waste my time posting it on the Hawk boards, but that is just me.

Congrats to the Hawks. Not only is David a heck of a football player, he's also a great student. I believe he has a 4.3 GPA or something like that.
