I hope to God that our coaches and players have bigger goals than beating up on U of I. We will never be worth a damn if that is our ultimate goal.

You forgot to mention that WE are ranked 74th. There are only 4 BCS schools worse than us, one is Iowa, one is Wake Forest, and the other two are Missouri and Texas A&M, both from Big 12.

LOL. I still remember Iowa fans bragging about how tough they were for playing a home & home with Syracuse. My favorite quote before the first year of the series was "They are much better than their 1-10 record indicates."

You do realize that 2 of those losses to Northwestern were during their Conference Championship seasons, right?

And you also realize that ISU is 1-1 against Western Michigan, right?

Here's some of my favorite statistics.
- ISU is 23-78 overall against the Big Ten.

- The Big Ten is 313-212 overall against the Big 12 (all members of the Big 12)

- The Big 12 is 16-14 overall against the Big Ten since 2000.

Man, for such a weak conference, the Big 12 sure has struggled to dominate the Big Ten. And those wins come against Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Iowa State, and Kansas.

If you'd like, I could probably find out the Big Ten's winning percentage against the rest of the BCS conferences, but I'm willing to bet it's roughly the same.

For such a weak conference, man do they play all of the big boys pretty evenly.

I don't get it. If you are so anti Iowa State and so pro Hawkeyes, why do you bother to hang out here? A Hawk board would make more sense.

I'm not anti Iowa State. If you were to read posts outside of the In-state Rivals forum, you probably would have seen multiple posts of mine where I've stated pro-ISU things.

I would rather see ISU do well than not.

And I do post at a Hawk board.

What, calling out people with incorrect information is being anti-ISU?

Or provide arguments that challenge peoples' blind homerism is anti-ISU?

Never once have I said anything negative about ISU on this board. What I have done is challenge peoples' opinions, which usually turns into a well thought out and civil debate.

Sure, there are posters who have no argument and attack me for being an Iowa fan, and try to refute everything as I say as "spin", but for the most part, posters on this board are some of the best, and I enjoy the conversations.
