Everson and Saterfield to be arrested

Took them long enough, but warrants for sexual assault have been issued for them in relation to the event a while ago.

I believe they both did, but they didn't play at all after the event took place on October 14th. And I know both are no longer part of the team

Everson played in 5 games, I think the first 5. Not sure about the other guy.

I doubt it. Even though the crime is MUCH worse, they'll probably get 6 months and some probation. JB really got screwed. I still blame it on judges with UI law degrees.

JB really did get hit hard...is that the norm in Story County? Growing up so close to IC...I just assume athletes everywhere got treated the same as Iowa athletes...like people above the law!

That said...these crimes are sickening! I hope if they are guilty that they get the book thrown at them! UofI campus has not received a lot of positive publicity this year regarding sexual assaults.

Waiting for what? That the system played its course?

These guys are no longer Hawkeyes, and I hope, if convicted, they serve the maximum punishment.

The fact that some people still think there was a coverup is beyond me. This unfortunately happens all the time, and the fact that it took 6 months is, again, the unfortunate norm.

I know I know, KF kicked these guys off the team, so he must have known that something was up. I'm sure he did - but without arrests or conviction, is he supposed to go public and say "Yeah, these guys assaulted this poor girl"?

I am sickened that these guys were every on the team, but unfortunately there was no telling that these idiots were going to do something like this.

Ced Everson was a 4* recruit who switched from GA Tech, to Mich State to Iowa on signing day. He's from Detroit and just another prime example why the Hawks should STOP RECRUITING THUGS FROM DETROIT.

Abe was a 2*.
