KU NCAA

Kitchen @ Sports Radio 810 WHB - Powered By Fans has a nice article about KU only getting a slap on the wrist for repeated violations. Finally, someone around KC sees the favoritism that Ku receives.

Re: KU NCAA

did any of you see that sheron collins "exposed" ( he pulled it out) himself to a random woman on an elevator and didn't get in trouble, grrrrrrr, another reason to hate Kansas

Thank you Wes Johnson for the great 2 years you gave Iowa State. Wish you could've stayed. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up.

"The one thing I really want to say is to tell the fans thank you for everything," Johnson said. "You rooted for me, you were behind me with my injury, and I really appreciated that."

Must not have been much to see.

What do Cyclone fans and Hawkeye fans have in common?
Neither one ever attended the University of Iowa.

Nice find...Just think of the number of times schools don't get caught. My guess is that it's higher than most want to believe.

Jeez.....Jiri drives a dude's (who's a Hawk fan) truck and misses 6 games. Collins whips it out in public and it's tsk tsk at the worst.

http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...-up-court.html (KU's Collins exposes self, does not show up in court)

The thing is - he's going to pay. This is a law issue, not an NCAA issue. And the judge awarded the plaintiff already, so Collins' side is going to have to do major work to get him out of paying money.
Just need to compare apples to apples. Inside the link posted in the first post, you'll see a mention of Darnell Jackson's $$$ taking, to him personally, and he only missed 9 games, and then we have the Lucca situation, and he misses the whole season. Now those are similar incidents and we come out 10x worse!

Re: KU NCAA

As far as I can see, an athlete can commit any crime, and if the school and local community decides to sweep it under the rug, the NCAA could care less as long as the athlete didn't violate any NCAA rules.
