The thing is - he's going to pay. This is a law issue, not an NCAA issue. And the judge awarded the plaintiff already, so Collins' side is going to have to do major work to get him out of paying money.
Just need to compare apples to apples. Inside the link posted in the first post, you'll see a mention of Darnell Jackson's $$$ taking, to him personally, and he only missed 9 games, and then we have the Lucca situation, and he misses the whole season.
