Final Fantasy standings. I haven't checked my work on this one but there were only ten matches so I hope I didn't mistype any of them

Cael's run of success as a coach is starting to rival Gable's (some might argue he is there). They both have in common wrestling at Iowa State.

Jesus, 5 individual titles for Penn St
The last five matches of the tournament. The tournament started at 197. Retherford was the first Penn Stater to make an appearance in the finals at 149, and then it was a straight run from there.

The five individual titles ties a record. Iowa has done it twice and Okla State once.

Would they have threatened the scoring record with even a top 5 finish from Suriano?

Depends on bonus.

Iowa put up 170 in 1997 (5 champs, 1-2nd, 1-5th, 1-6th)
Oklahoma State had 153 in 2005 (5 champs, 1-4th, 1-8th)
Penn State 146.5 this year (5 champs, 1-5th)

I hadn't seen PSU's points yet. Probably not quite, even with a finals run. It could be in danger next year though.

Their 125...who was #2 (about) until he broke his ankle on a fluke against OSU, is hurt. Their 133 has been out of the lineup all year...an AA...due to injury so they had nobody there.

Return all 5, with the 2 missing????

Small quibble: Cortez at 133 is a good wrestler but after red shirting and transferring was in his first year and hasn't been an AA.

He could challenge for a spot on the podium but that's about it. Based on what I saw from him so far he definitely wasn't challenging for a title or even a spot in the finals

They could have had a national champion this year. They didn't care...the ship had already sunk.

Jesus H. Are you kidding with this? A guy who can't follow the team rules, abuses drugs and alcohol and skips practice isn't winning an NCAA title.

Believe me, he would have broken Nickal in half and tossed Dean on his head. No doubt about it.

p.s. He's not 'abusing' anything...like you should know.

Right. If he could only find a team that allowed him to do the above, he would no doubt be the champ. It was really working for him! He was dominant.

As for you PS, are you including that girl from the Instagram video that asked him to take it down and instead put it BACK up to taunt her? He's a class act.
