sorry to see it go, but Teca had completely supplanted it. There was nothing that Fuente did that Teca doesn't do better, and in a much nicer facility.

It's always sad to see a local business close, especially on Duff. They had a good run. I was more upset when O'malley McGees went under.

I usually just get shrimp quesadillas at mexican restaurants if they have it, and LaFuente had the best in town. That's a bummer, man

We went there a bunch because it was closer than El Azteca out on 16th (until the Somerset location opened). Had some sort of flaming shot at La Fuente on my 21st and then closed down Es Tas.

My fond memories of that place is barely getting out of the parking lot before I realized there was a possibility that if I didn't get to the bathroom soon I was going to **** my pants

Definitely too bad but Azteca just does everything better. We used to go there all the time before the Somerset Azteca opened.

No, they went under.
Shipped the managers to Applebee's and let the staff go, if I remember right.

Also, El Azteca is amazing.

They were OK, but so much pricier than El Azteca, and Azteca tastes better, too.
I did like them a whole lot before the king moved in, though.

It was one of the first restaurants I went to when I moved to Ames. There was a whole bunch of us from the BMBB department, including the chair who went out. The chair drove me back to my apartment after finishing the challenge. What killed me was going out to a party that night and doing shots.

Man, I miss being young and stupid occasionally.
