Gets called in the NCAAs. Predictable that the non-stop fouling comes back to haunt WV. Zags dodge a bullet.

No doubt WV couldn't hit anything, but Adrian being on the bench with fouls until 2:30 left was huge.

His third and fourth fouls were totally on him. Number four especially- just a stupid frustration foul at a critical point in the game. Gonna look even more stupid on game tape. If he avoids #4 so early, they may be in the Elite Eight.

Adrian was really bad in the whole tournament. Really hurt them. Nobody besides Carter even wanted a shot. Someone on the WVU board says he has a shoulder injury that will need surgery, which makes since because he just absolutely killed us at times.

I think shooting 16/60 had more to do with the loss than the fouling, in fact WVU committed one fewer foul than Gonzaga.

Called for one fewer foul, you mean.

If they were called for every one they committed the whole team would foul out before the half.

Every time he fouled someone, he looked at Huggy with an over the top exasperated look. Then they showed the replay of him with his arm around the neck of another player. They're so used to just getting away with **** because they "can't call all of them" that it destroys them in the tournament every year. It happened two rounds later than I thought it might this year, but at some point, it catches up with them.

They made it to the sweet 16 where they barely lost to a 1 seed. I don't think their fouling style is the reason they lost at all. Missed shots (& free throws) had much more to do with it.

Seems like unless they win the whole thing, there will always be people saying they lost because of their style of play.

Better team won, Zags. The stunner was X beating Zona. Purdue was not athletic or fast enough to deal with the birds. That won't be the case when they play the quacks.
