The Oja at Iowa Brewing Company is (if I remember correctly) 7.6% and is good. Available in a large can at the brewery.

For me, I need something with a little more alcohol after last night. I saw an 18% beer available somewhere, and I liked it (I think it was a guest tap from Backpocket available at Iowa Brewing Company.. and I'm sure its no longer there). May have to settle for Peace Tree's Blonde Fatale at 8._%

When I'm looking for new stuff I grab the sampler pack at HyVee liquor. Good way to try some stuff without buying a whole six pack of something. I'll take a flier on one or two wierd ones and get three or so I'm pretty sure I will like. That's how I found out I like the coffee beers. Who knew?

I've always been a fan of Stone's Go To IPA for a session IPA. Only 4.8% abv and comes in cans now.

Bought a New Belgium Collaboration Variety 12 pack last weekend. 6 different limited release beers that they made with other local brewers. Mostly pale ales and a couple IPAs. All very good beers.

I had Schlafly Pumpkin Ale - 8% and Exile - Oktoberfest 5.1% this past Sunday. Schlafly Pumpkin has been one of my favorites, was disappointed in the Exile though.
