Forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere and I've missed it. In the "old" Big 12, TV revenue is shared unequally - the more you're on TV, the bigger piece of the TV revenue pie you get.

In the "new" Big 12 I know that everyone will get more money and it will still be split unequally, but how will it be split? Is it a fixed percentage for everyone, or will it still be based on how much you're on TV? Because presumably everyone will be on TV more often now, won't they?

I guess what I'm asking is, if ISU starts to be more successful is there a chance we could get a bigger share of the TV revenue?

Nothing changes; the only difference is there are 2 less teams. So now, with the revenue that is shared equally, it is split 10 ways, and that right there is figured to make ISU a couple million more per year. With TV, there is a better probability for ISU to be on TV more with 1 less game for the networks to choose from each week.

Also, the pie should be getting bigger with supposed new/updated TV contracts.
