CHICAGO – Iowa State senior Kelsey Bolte has been selected to participate in ESPN’s Annual College Basketball Slam Dunk and Three-Point Contests. The competition, which is held in conjuction with the men’s Slam Dunk and Three-Point Contest, will be held on March 31 in Hofheinz Pavilion on the University of Houston campus and will premiere at 8 p.m. (CDT) on ESPN2.

The Ida Grove, Iowa native is the seventh Cyclone to compete in the three-point contest in the last 11 years. The last Cyclone contestant was Heather Ezell in 2009. Ezell advanced to the semifinals of the competition.

Other Cyclones that have participated in the event include Lyndsey Medders (2007), Anne O’Neil (2005), Lindsey Wilson (2003), Tracy Gahan (2002) and Stacy Frese (2000).
