After hearing about Melrose and his health last year, I was starting to think the voices of my athletic youth are starting to get old.
And losing Mort now solidifies that.
He was a good one.

Cancer sucked a lot out of him. Everytime I saw him recently he seemed pretty frail and weak. He will be missed.

Dang, stage 4 throat cancer since January 2016. He put up one hell of a fight.
