Pollard should be blocked from picking TJ and/or fired on the spot.
Just not a mid major coach. After Prohm, we need a break from that. Pony up the money and get a proven winner at a P5 school.
You want to keep Campbell? You have to keep Pollard.
Let Campbell sign off/choose Pollard’s replacement. Or just don’t pick TJ. Simple.
That’s the thing about proven winners at P5 schools. They are currently coaching at P5 schools. With contracts, and huge buyouts, and recruiting out three years.

Wow that is amazing. Altman or Matta would be fantastic. Would be happy with Hoiberg. TJ would be a letdown.
Given his Drake departure and Pollards relationship with their AD, that would shock me. I think he goes to the Gophers.
Iowa state does not have longevity at coaching anyeway? So hire the name coach that can get us where we need to be and then transfer power to the assistant coach, promoting from within to ensure continuity.
The fact we have stooped to Marry, ****, Kill coaching candidates means this coaching search is an exercise in futility.

I’m convinced there are 350 d1 head coaches out there that would be better. I like our chances of finding someone better.
I don't think it is Hoiberg. But I would rather have a coach that gets ISU back to the top 3 in the Big 12 and then leaves for a NBA job in 4-5 years, over what we have now. I would take 4 years of success and then see where ISU can go from there.
It depends. Has he sweated through his shirt already? 'Cause that would be awkward in an interview.
