I would say not at all. She qualified 12th (nationals only takes 16) and then had her best jump of the year by 8". Her distance today was only bettered by one other athlete the entirety of indoor season, so truly an elite performance
it is Sydney.
A clutch performance as she had to have her best jump on her last jump to win.

I imagined someone with long lanky legs. Is there a certain body type that helps with long jump?

Not exactly sure.
I recognize the PA announcer voice. That is Mike Jay from Columbus Junction, IA. He is the voice of Drake Relays, Kansas Relays and other big track events. I used to run with him back in early 90s.
Where were nationals?

Average height if that makes sense is best. Longer legs make consistency difficult as far as hitting the board. My stepson does the decathlon at Central, he's 6'5". Makes the long jump either feast or famine because he struggles to get his steps accurate.
