"Diamond Dave" passed away this morning

Just got a note from Jay at the Cyclone Gridiron Club that the always lovable "Diamond Dave" passed away this morning. I had heard that hospice was called in last week.

If you're a believer, please say a prayer for Cyclone Jerry and the family today. Good, passionate Cyclones.

I want to say late 40s/early 50s.
He really was a gem of a guy. He was a neighbor for a couple years, always upbeat and ready for anything Cyclone related.

Prayers for his family. That's really tough.

Prayers for the family of Diamond Dave. Heard him many, many times on the radio. Talk about a loyal Cyclone fan. The glass was always half full whenever he was talking about Cyclone sports. No matter what.
