If Holtz started covering basketball, I would stop watching college sports all together. I can barely handle him for the 4 or 5 months of football season.

I vehemently agree. Lou Holtz might have been a good/successful coach, but how can someone that talks like a stroked-out Elmer Fudd with a lisp be a tv personality?

In an era where Billy Ray Cyrus, Perez Hilton and Rosie O'Donnell are celebrities along with about 8,000 losers on reality television, we need to cut Lou some slack. But not much.
