I disagree that it's that time of year, give me at least until late September before I'm in the mood for Pumpkin Ales. That being said Schlafly and Steven's Point Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale are the two best I've had and the others I've tried don't come close.

I've never had one that I'd go out of my way to try again. Have heard the Schlafly one is decent but haven't tried it yet.

Since they are carrying them in the store now, it's that time of the year.

That's false. October and November is "that time of year". And one of the only pumpkin ales I actually enjoy is Dogfish Head Punkin. The Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale is ok too.

Edit: I'll add Schlafly to the list as well. It wasn't bad.

I went Steven's Point, but actually it is starting to be the season.

I was in STL airport last weekend and had a few Schlafy Pumpkins, hit the spot.

Where's "none of the above?" Yuck!

Ok, I actually don't mind pumpkin beer, but those pumpkin spiced beers are nasty.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead served in a cinnamon-sugar rimmed pint glass is fantastic. But I am simply not in the mood for pumpkin/Oktoberfest beers until it actually starts getting cool out. As far as I'm concerned, we are still in summer for quite a while longer.

Boulevard is releasing a pumpkin sour beer this season that i am excited for
Is it the same one they brewed last year? A friend of mine had one last fall at the tap room in KC and said it was awesome. Going to be looking for it in bottles this year hopefully!

I like the Mill Stream Great Imperial Pumpkin Stout but I voted Shipyard since it wasn't listed
