I meant Fizer in the NBA, Davis in the NFL. Two of ISU's greatest players of all time just couldn't muster any sort of professional career to speak of.

Davis was drafted in the 3rd round so there was obviously a lot of doubt about him prior to the draft. If you are a heisman finalists and are not taken in the first round than you usually are not going to have an NFL career

Fizer was a very, very good college player who's college game didn't translate to the pro game. He was a 6'-6" power foward who didn't rebound (averaged just over 7 rpg in college, he should have easily average 9-10 with his physical skills), had about an 8' shooting range, and really didn't play that much defense. He could score with his back to the basket from 8' and in, put could not hit an open jumper or score facing the basket from 15'. At 6'-6", he had problems guarding the other teams PF and wasn't quick enough to guard the SF. He needed to be 3" taller and have a desire to rebound to start in the NBA. Sort of a poor man's Corliss Williamson.
