For sale: 2 endzone tickets for Iowa game

Two years ago I was walking into the game with a endzone ticket and an Iowa Co-Ed yelled, I'll give $175 for a ticket. Should have taken her up on it.....:sad:

This always happens. Pre-month prices are absolutely silly. Pre-week become more reasonable. Friday/Saturday of become realistic. $65-90.

I've been to every Iowa/ISU game for the past 8 years and this always seems to be the case. Half the time I have picked up tickets a few hours before the game at way less than Stubhub or other sites we're offering.

I sit in that section and damn close to that row. It is worth ever penny of it to hear my drunken insights on the game, i.e. "PUT IN JANNNNNNNNNTZ" or "PUT IN TILLLLLLLLER"

I sold my extra 2 I had for $100 each 2 yrs ago. The price on the ticket reads $90. I know it only cost $150 for the whole season. To get a single game ticket though will cost you $90 if you can even get one. Supply and demand. This game allows you to do that.

I'm not sure who is dumb enough to spend $130 on an endzone ticket when they cost $125 for season tickets...but it sounds like some people are!

And face value for Iowa State tickets means nothing...the ticket price isn't even close to the demand price (which means our tickets are WAY overpriced). Nearly every home game (except Iowa/Neb), you can buy tickets for $20-$25 even though the face value is $65. So just because the face value of an Iowa ticket is $90 doesn't mean that's what they are worth.

This is true. A lot of games are worth less, the iowa game is worth much more. If you sell all your tickets for what theyre worth (for sideline tickets thats probably 200 for iowa, 75-100 for UNI, smaller amounts for the rest), you'll probably come close to the season ticket price.

And dont the $125 endzone season tickets usually sell out fairly quickly most years? Doesnt matter what those cost if theyre unavailable.
