Bug Intermittent Catastrophic Upload Failure

I have been encountering this problem for the last month or so. About half of the time when I try to paste an image I have copied onto my clipboard into a post it will just freeze up and then after about 10 seconds I get a message that "the page is unresponsive". It will ask me to reload the page.

Either the paste will work the first time normally or it won't work at all no matter how many times I attempt to paste. There is no in between. The size of the upload image appears to be immaterial to the success/failure of the attempt.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I've never tried to insert an image into a post using the clipboard. I use the "Insert image" functionality which always works.

I have always use copy/paste which has always worked (except when trying to insert too large of a file) up until this issue cropped up.

I'll try that and see what happens.
