I'm at the age where every once in a while I'll see someone and his/her older appearance makes me feel old. When I first saw this video, that's exactly how I felt about Kyle Gass. This is how I remember him in my mind:
I hadn’t seen jack black for awhile. I thought he had aged a lot since last time when I saw the video.

I can remember coming home from the bar drunk, late at night, and seeing the Tenacious D shorts on HBO, having no clue what I was watching, but knowing it was something special. I still sing "Rocket Sauce" to myself regularly while doing chores around the house.
The coolest thing about him is even though he's really talented and could have gone in about any direction, he never started taking himself too seriously and he just kept being the same guy. I don't think a lot of people with his singing ability would be able to hold off trying to make some "serious" music to get out of the Tenacious D bucket. I've just always found that admirable.
