Feedback: Mobile forums slow

I'm working with my ad network to get video ads turned off, which sucks, because it'll kill our CPMs (revenue). Gotta get this issue fixed though for you guys. Please be patient.

Running a free site can be a ***** sometimes. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I know it's been said before (and turned down) but I'd love to pay a subscription and get rid of ads.

Started using Opera mini on android. The mobile CF forums work significantly better on opera mini than in the chrome app.

Unforunately it does block the ads (which i recognize CF needs to keep content free).

On my Android 4.3 phone, I finally installed an ad blocker in FireFox, and it at least makes the site usable, but still slow.

I have a couple of "cheap" Chinese Android 5.1 tablets, one with a low-end AllWinner processor and one with a higher-end Intel processor, and both of them seem to have no problems without any ad blockers. The AllWinner is noticeably slower than the Intel, but it doesn't do that freeze up thing like the Android 4.x devices do when loading a page.

I made some adjustments with our ad networks today. Will cut CPMs in about half but should help things considerably.

I've noticed the site has been slow loading again over the last week on chrome mobile.

Mobile and full site have been flat out horrible for me for a while now. Nearly unresponsive at times. Mobile is worse though.

Full site works just fine for me on computers. Less so on my tablet, and is basically unusable on my phone. The mobile experience (at least for me, and has been this way every since the big redesign) is awful.

Even after it's done loading, scrolling is sometimes impossible. Takes about 30 seconds a letter when typing too.

I get that to. I type out a full sentence before the first letter appears.

I thought this just my issue. In additions to the freezing, I submitted an issue the first week, and still go nuts about it. When going to the last post read on a thread, I can sometimes read 10-12 posts and then get taken back to the last post read. Sorry to complain about a free site, Chris, but this is beyond frustrating.
