Didn't see this posted already, please merge/delete if I missed it. Looks like the NCAA is recommending getting rid of divisions for football championship game participation, allowing conferences to use other criteria. It opens the door for everyone to use the current Big 12 format, with the top two teams in a rematch. Seems like generally a bad deal for everyone in the Big 10 West. They'll have to play the big boys more often, get to play the little guys less, and will be less likely to get into the championship game. The bouncer in Indy just got a lot better at spotting fake IDs.
What might a potential NCAA rule change mean for Penn State Football and the rest of the Big Ten?
There is a rule change on the horizon for college football, but what might it mean for the Big Ten, including Penn State Football?
