Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters lead guitar player) is putting out his solo album tomorrow. It kicks ass. Old school honky tonk meets punk. Anyone familiar with his "Walking the Floor" podcast won't be surprised, and will enjoy the **** out of it.

New Gorillaz came out today, and I was left very underwhelmed through the first listen. Quite disappointing.

On a brighter note - The War on Drugs came out with a new 11 min song and it's fantastic. This band is amazing.

I love that type of stuff. I have a Vinyl of James Taylor & The Flying Machine's self titled album, with the orilginal cuts included. And I find it fascinating. At first it was annoying that they would cut out while they'd be vibing along, but then you can hear what they say or thoughts and then they jump right back into the music. Quite interesting and seems more intimate.

The new Slowdive album dropped today. Not sure if there are many "shoegaze" fans here, but I'm enjoying it.
