Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters lead guitar player) is putting out his solo album tomorrow. It kicks ass. Old school honky tonk meets punk. Anyone familiar with his "Walking the Floor" podcast won't be surprised, and will enjoy the **** out of it.

I have been listening the hell out of this and some of the older stuff. Him and the Dead Pheasants are freaking great. Thanks a million Al.
No problem. Do you listen to his podcast? It's totally up your alley.
Music VideoJust an update: Portugal. The Man's new album out June 16th!
They also released a new single today off of it: Number One.
Sam Outlaw's record is good stuff. Listen here.
They're a pretty fun band. The new Sylvan Esso album is sucking me into their world.
I saw that was released, but haven't made time to listen to it yet. Hopefully will by the weekendAnybody check out the Prisoner B-Sides LP from Ryan Adams? A lot tracks I like just as much as the ones that made the album....
they are more the rough cuts but I think that is where Ryan is at his best....I saw that was released, but haven't made time to listen to it yet. Hopefully will by the weekend
I love that type of stuff. I have a Vinyl of James Taylor & The Flying Machine's self titled album, with the orilginal cuts included. And I find it fascinating. At first it was annoying that they would cut out while they'd be vibing along, but then you can hear what they say or thoughts and then they jump right back into the music. Quite interesting and seems more intimate.they are more the rough cuts but I think that is where Ryan is at his best....
